Track Athletes in Action at Final Qualifiers

NC State men's and women's track and field sent athletes to three different meets at final indoor qualifiers for the NCAA Championships. Emily Pritt ran a 4:47.61 in the mile, and Andie Cozzarelli with a 4:55.49. Erin Mercer posted a 5:05.90. It was Mercer's fastest time in the event on the season.
Tiayonna Blackmon ran a 2:13.24 in the 800m.
John Martinez hit an NCAA Indoor Provisional qualifying time in the 3,000m with a time of 8:04.56 and a first place finish. Teammate Ryan Hill was close behind with a second place showing and an 8:06.47.
Martinez and Hill were in New York at the Armory for the Columbia Final Qualifier. They were joined by four women's track and field teammates.
Ben Major ran in the 60m and the 200m at the Arkansas Final Qualifier. He posted a 6.96 in the 60m prelims and ran a 21.33 in the 200m
