No. 26 W. Tennis Falls to No. 9 Clemson

Clemson, S.C. - The No. 26 NC State women's tennis team fell to No. 9 Clemson 7-0 on Saturday, March 27. The Pack drops to 9-5 and 1-3 in the ACC, while the Tigers move to 15-3 and 3-1 in the ACC.
The Wolfpack battled hard during doubles play, but fell short. Lenka Hojckova and Daria Petrovic got things started with an 8-5 win over Estefania Balda and Nelly Ciolkowski. No. 42 Berkeley Brock and Sandhya Nagaraj couldn't get past No. 17 Josipa Bek and Ina Hadziselimovic, losing 9-7. Diana Mortlock and Chloe Smith lost a close match 9-8 (6) to Caroline Magnusson and Keri Wong to give the Tigers the point.
In singles No. 64 Nagaraj lost to No. 22 Bek, 6-4, 6-1. Brock was defeated 6-3, 6-2 by Hadziselimovic. Petrovic fell to No. 73 Ciolkowski to give Clemson the win.
Smith was beaten by Magnusson, 6-0, 6-2. Mortlock lost 7-6 (4), 6-2 to Balda. Hojckova was the last to go down, losing 7-6 (4), 6-4 to No. 59 Wong.
The Pack travels to No. 13 Georgia Tech tomorrow, with the match set to begin at noon.
