W.Golf tied for fourth at Pinehurst Challenge

Pinehurst, N.C. - The NC State women's golf team is tied for fourth after two rounds of the Pinehurst Challenge at the Pinehurst No. 6 course.
Sophomore Megan Chapman led the Wolfpack by carding an even-par 72 in Monday's first round. She followed that up with a four-over-par 76 to tie for 10th at +4 (148) after 36 holes.
Senior Joanna Saleeby is tied for 15th at +5 with rounds of 75-74=149.
Senior Emily Street is tied for 20th at +6. Street shot rounds of 76-74=150.
Tulsa transfer Brooke Baker fired a +8 with rounds of 75-77=152.
Senior Kathleen Strandberg shot a +9 with rounds of 77-76=153 and is currently tied for 38th.
Florida State holds an 18 stroke lead over the field at +1 (577). Maryland's Christine Shimel leads all individuals at -5 (139).
Final round of the Pinehurst Challenge tees off Tuesday at 9 a.m.
