No. 42 W. Tennis Sweeps No. 67 College of Charleston

Charleston, S.C. - The No. 42 NC State women's tennis team swept No. 67 College of Charleston 7-0 on Monday, March 15.
The Wolfpack began the day on a high note by taking the doubles point. Daria Petrovic teamed with Diana Mortlock to beat Caroline Newman and Keely Mulligan 8-3. Lenka Hojckova and Tana Illova continued their solid play together by winning 8-4 over Kinsey Casey and Irene Viana. Berkeley Brock and Sandhya Nagaraj fell 8-5 to Holly Dowse and Emma Hayman with the point already decided.
Illova was the first to finish singles with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Evans. Brock took care of business by beating Newman 6-3, 6-1.
Singles play was a match of comebacks for the Pack as Hojckova, Mortlock, Nagaraj and Petrovic all fell behind after their first set, but came back to win. Hojckova took down Hayman 1-6, 6-0, 6-4. Nagaraj won 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 over Dowse. Petrovic defeated Casey 4-6, 6-3, 6-1. Mortlock closed out the day with a 6-7, 7-6, (10-7) win over Viana.
The Wolfpack moves to 6-4 on the year. The Pack has a day off before playing No. 27 Princeton on Wednesday, March 17 at 11:00 a.m. in Charleston, S.C.
