MIAMI, Fla. – NC State (2-0) used two big innings to grab its second win of the day over North Florida, 7-0, on Saturday, Feb. 13 at the FIU Combat Classic. Lindsay Campana (1-0) gave up just three hits over six innings while picking up 12 K’s and issuing a lone walk. Morgan Peeler fanned two in an inning of relief.

Breanna Andrews started the top of the fourth by drawing a walk, then scoring on a Cooper double. Call drew a walk and Krystal Hawkins ran in her place, immediately swiping second while Cooper scored due to a Britanie Block error at short. Ishibashi later drove Hawkins across the plate with a double.
A Call solo shot got another three-run inning started in the top of the sixth. Bridget Desbois then walked and Landon Warren followed with a base hit. Back-to-back walks to Alicia Abbott and Alyssa Allbritten forced in another run, while an Allison Presnell sac-fly to center pushed Warren across the dish.
The Wolfpack added a seventh and final run in the top of the seventh when Ishibashi drew a bases loaded walk.
NC State will wrap up its stay at the FIU Combat Classic tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 14.
