W. Track & Field In Action at Three Meets

The NC State women's track and field team sent split squads to three meets this weekend - the Tyson Invite in Fayetteville, Ark., UNC Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C. and Huskie Classic in Seattle, Wash.
Brittany McCain won the weight throw at the UNC Invitational with her third-best mark of the season, a 56'01.00".
Taylor Graham was fourth in the 60m hurdles with a career-best 9.08. She was seeded eighth after prelims with a 9.22.
Gabrielle Daniel turned in a season-best 57.95 in the 400m, an indoor career-best.
Kara McKenna was 12th in her section in the 5,000m run at the Huskie Classic, posting her career-best in the event.
The Tyson Invite and the Huskie Classic continue on Saturday.
