Adam Hogue wins first Pro Golf event

BRADENTON, FLA. - Former NC State men's golfer Adam Hogue won his first pro event Monday on the West Florida Golf Tour.
The Plymouth, Mich., native shot a 74 to edge out three golfers by one stroke among a field of 30.
He earned a check for $1,000 on a cold and windy day at River Strand Golf and Country Club.
Hogue played at NC State from 2007-10. He ranked second on the team with a 73.3 scoring average last season. He finished tied for second at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate - his best showing as a collegiate.
