RALEIGH, N.C. -
NC State swimming and diving will host Maryland and Davidson in separate meets this weekend, with the swimming portion of both contests being held at the Triangle Aquatic Center in nearby Cary, N.C., due to facility upgrades. All diving action will remain at the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center on campus.
NC State will face Maryland at 2 p.m. on Friday before battling Davidson at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The swimming and diving portions will both begin at the same time each day, despite being held in different venues.
The Wolfpack men’s and women’s teams both stand at 1-0 on the young season, as the men topped VMI and the women downed Campbell last Friday in the season-opening meet for both squads.
Friday’s ACC clash with Maryland will serve as the first meet of the year for the Terrapins. Davidson’s men’s and women’s teams will both enter competition at 0-2 each, having lost to Clemson and East Carolina.
