Seven Players Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll

GREENSBORO, N.C. – A program-tying seven NC State women’s basketball players were named to the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll during the 2008-09 season.

Kim Durham, Shayla Fields, Hanna Halteman, Kristy Kenney, Brittany Strachan, Emili Tasler and Amber White each registered a grade point average of 3.00 or better last school year,

Halteman, Strachan and Tasler were named to the honor roll for the second-straight season.

The only other time seven players were on the honor roll was back in 1997.

The Wolfpack women have now been recognized 92 times on the honor roll dating back to 1983.
