Five Named to All-ACC Swimming & Diving Academic Team

RALEIGH, N.C. Five members of the NC State men’s swimming and diving team were named to the 2008-09 All-ACC Academic Team on Wednesday, June 10, as announced by Commissioner John Swofford. Scott Blackwelder, Austin Hampton, Mason McGee, Stephen Mellor and Kevin Woodhull-Smith all picked up the distinction.
To be eligible student-athletes must have a 3.00 grade point average over their career and over the last two semesters.
The honor marks the third time that Blackwelder, Hampton, McGee and Woodhull-Smith have been named to the list, second for Mellor.
