Blackman, Moldovan, Jones Hit Regional Marks

ATLANTA, Ga. - Angelina Blackmon, Bobby Moldovan and Jason Jones each led the women's and men's track and field teams at the Georgia Tech Invite. Both runners - Blackmon and Moldovan - improved on their previous best mark in the 1,500m, while Jones had his seventh shot put regional mark.
Blackmon and McKenna were the only two female athletes in action on Friday at Georgia Tech, finishing eighth and 23rd in the 1,500m, respectively. Blackmon ran a 4:23.46, a personal-best time.
For the men, Moldovan ran a personal-best 3:46.61 in the 1,500m to improve upon his old time by almost eight seconds.
Jones secured his seventh NCAA Regional qualifying mark in the shot put with a sixth place finish.
