Davies Heads to NCAA Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. NC State women’s senior diver Kristin Davies will compete at the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row, March 19-21 in College Station, Texas. Action will be held at the Texas A&M Student Recreation Center Natatorium. Live stats for each day of competition are available here.
Davies will have Thursday off before competing in the 3-meter dive on Friday. She will end her stay on Sunday by partaking in the platform dive, her signature event.
This past weekend at the NCAA Diving Zones in Knoxville, Tenn. Davies won the platform dive with a total score of 576.80. She also placed 18th in the 3-meter dive with a 519.90 score.
Last year Davies took 13th overall in the platform dive at the NCAA Championships and was named honorable mention All-America. More recently, Davies, a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, picked up All-ACC hardware in the platform dive for the second year in a row at the ACC Championships last month.
