Henry Competes in Shot Put at NCAA Indoors

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - NC State's Lawanda Henry finished 16th at the NCAA Indoor Championships in College Station, Texas, on Saturday. Her mark of 47'07.25" was short of her school-record holding mark set earlier this season of 53'02.25".

Henry, how was the only freshman to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the shot put, is the school record holder in both the shot put and weight throw.
