No. 47 Women's Tennis Hosts No. 17 Heels

RALEIGH, N.C. The No. 47 NC State women’s tennis team opens ACC play this Friday with a home match against rival No. 17 North Carolina. The match will begin at 3 p.m. on the 6th at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center, and live stats will be available here, and the match will also be broadcast on ACC Select.
The Pack is currently 1-3 on the season after dropping two matches at the ITA Team Indoor Playoffs to No. 37 Washington and No. 48 Long Beach State. Sophomore Lenka Hojckova is NC State’s ranked player, ranked at No. 87 nationally in singles play.
The Tarheels are 4-0 coming to Raleigh this week. North Carolina has three singles ranked players. Sanaz Marand is ranked No. 47, Shinann Featherston is ranked No. 83, and Austin Smith is No. 103 in singles play. UNC also has three ranked doubles teams. Katrina Tsang and Featherston are No. 12, Sophie Grabinski and Marand are No. 15 nationally, and Marand and Tsang are also ranked together at No. 45.
