Field Announced for 2009 River Landing Intercollegiate

Raleigh, N.C. - If the results of the fall schedule are any indication, the 2009 River Landing Intercollegiate is shaping up to have another top field. The Intercollegiate, hosted by NC State, is a two-day event: Friday, April 10 (36 holes) and Saturday, April 11 (18 holes) to be played on the River Course at River Landing, in Wallace, N.C.
As of the fall rankings, 10 of the 15 teams are ranked in the top 80 in the Golfweek rankings: NC State (22), Tulsa (32), Duke (38), Wake Forest (40), Michigan (46), Virginia Tech (53), Virginia (55), North Carolina (63), Memphis (67), and Kansas (79). The remainder of the field includes: Maryland (94), East Carolina (122), Rice (127), Hartford (156) and Houston (192).
The practice round is set for the morning of Thursday, April 9 with the standard College-Am played at 1:00 p.m. A PDF is attached to sign up for the College-Am.
