Henry Fourth in Shot Put; W. Track & Field Sixth

BLACKSBURG, Va. - NC State women's track and field finished sixth at the 2009 ACC Indoor Championships in Blacksburg, Va. Lawanda Henry, who earned All-ACC honors in the weight throw on Friday, was fourth in the shot put, just missing all conference honors in the event.
Kara McKenna turned in a sixth place finish in the 3,000m run by shaving more than 10 seconds off of her previous career-best time with a mark of 9:42.51.
Brittany Tinsley was seventh in the same event with a 9:45.63.
Kayla Lawson was ninth in the triple jump with a career-best mark.
