Henry Hits Fifth NCAA Shot Put Mark

BLACKSBURG, Va. - Lawanda Henry hit her fifth NCAA Indoor Provisional Qualifying mark in the shot put at the VT Challenge. Henry won the event with a 51'01.50", her second-best mark this year.
Kayla Lawson was fourth in the high jump (5'07.00") and eighth in the triple jump (39'06.50"), both were career-highs.
Alesha Patterson and Mattie Bethea both tied for fifth in the high jump with heights of 5'05.00".
Tiayonna Blackmon was fifth in the 800m with a career-best time of 2:14.99.
Brittany Tinsley had a career-best time in the mile, running a 4:58.92.
