Diving Heads to Ohio State Invitational

RALEIGH, N.C. – Three NC State divers will travel to Columbus, Ohio, for the Ohio State Invitational, Dec. 4-6 at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Hudson Rains, Hannah Hopkins and Kirstyn Shepler will represent the Wolfpack against divers from 14 other programs. Live stats for each day of action will be available via this link.
The tournament field will be comprised of student-athletes from the following programs: Alabama (divers only), Arizona State (divers only), Duke (divers only), Indiana (divers only), Iowa (divers only), Miami of Ohio (divers only), Miami (divers only), Minnesota, NC State (divers only), Notre Dame (men only), Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue (divers only), South Carolina (divers only) and West Virginia.
The Pack’s divers – all of which are freshmen – have shown tremendous potential in the early stage of their careers in Raleigh. Rains has already qualified for NCAA diving zones in both the 1- and 3-meter dives, while Hopkins has qualified in the 3-meter.
Diving Schedule
Fri., Dec. 4 – men’s 1-meter, women’s 3-meter (11 a.m. prelims, 6 p.m. finals)
Sat., Dec. 5 – women’s 1-meter, men’s 3-meter (10 a.m. prelims, 5 p.m. finals)
Sun., Dec. 6 – men’s and women’s platform (noon)
