Competition Continues at UNCW Invitational

Wilmington, N.C. - The NC State men's tennis team continued competition today before some matches were cancelled because of rain.
After winning his first two matches yesterday, Will Rollinson lost to Ryan Ybarra of UNC Wilmington, 6-1, 6-1. In the consolation round, David Chermak was defeated Guy Kubi of Winthrop, 6-3, 6-3. Neither Fernando Banos or Akash Gujarati were able to play today because of the rain.
In double competition, Banos and Gujarati teamed up to beat Garcia and Darling of Elon, 8-3. Following that match, the duo fell short to Sharma and Ando Hirsch of UNC Wilmington, 8-4.
Chermak and Rollinson were defeated 8-5, by John and Meija of UNC Greensboro in the consolation round.
Competition will continue tomorrow.
