Cathedral City Classic Tickets on Sale Now

RALEIGH, N.C. Head coach Lisa Navas and the NC State softball program will compete at the renowned Cathedral City Classic this upcoming season and all-tournament passes are now on sale.

Fans interested in purchasing passes are asked to contact NC State pitching coach Leigh Ann Ellis at 919-513-7597.

The Pack will compete at the prestigious tournament Feb. 19-21 in Palm Springs, Calif., taking on UC Santa Barbara, Cal. State Fullerton, Massachusetts, California Berkeley and UCLA.

California Berkeley, Cal. State Fullerton, Massachusetts and UCLA all appeared in the NCAA Tournament last season.

In all, the tournament field is comprised of 32 teams, including 20 that made the postseason and eight that reached the NCAA College World Series a year ago. For more information visit CathedralCityClassic.com.

The NC State softball team will begin the 2009 season at the Crowne Plaza Classic in Houston, Texas this coming Feb. 13-15.
