No. 49 Men's Tennis Hosts No. 38 Penn State

RALEIGH, N.C. - The No. 49 NC State men’s tennis team will face its first ranked opponent of the season, No. 38 Penn State, on Sunday, Jan. 18 at 12 p.m. at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. The Wolfpack enters the match with a 1-0 record after defeating UNC Wilmington last Wednesday, 7-0. This is the first match of the season for the Nittany Lions. The Pack holds a 7-0 series record over Penn State.
The Pack swept UNC Wilmington, winning all three doubles matches and all six singles matches. Senior Jay Weinacker earned his 91st career win with a victory over Gustavo Bertei at No. 1. No singles match entered a third set.
