Rain Washes Out First Day of Maryland Intercollegiate

COLLEGE PARK, MD. - The arrival of Tropical Storm Hanna to Maryland's Eastern Shore has forced the postponement of Saturday's play at the Maryland Intercollegiate men's golf tournament.

Teams will attempt to play 36 holes on Sunday, with tee times for the first round beginning at 6:40 a.m. and the second round tentatively scheduled to begin around noon.

Eighteen teams are participating in the inaugural event.
