Duo Advances in Doubles at Southern Intercollegiate

ATHENS, GA. - Senior Christian Welte and junior Frideric Prandecki advanced to the semifinals of the Southern Intercollegiate Tournament in Athens, Ga. The NC State men's tennis pair defeated Jared Pinsky and Aaron Carpenter of Duke at the tournament hosted by University of Georgia on Sunday, Sept. 21.
Welte and Prandecki won the match, 8-4, over the Blue Devil's duo. They will play on Monday, Sept. 22 against Brock Sakey and Joe Delinks of Central Florida to determine who advances to the final match, which will be played later that day.
