Brock, Hojckova Post Singles Wins at UVA Invitational

Junior Berkeley Brock and sophomore Lenka Hojckova each one a singles match as the NC State women's tennis team continued play on day two of the UVA Invitational. The Wolfpack had six singles matches and a double contest on Saturday, September 20.
Brock took down Maria Sorbello of Tennessee in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.
Hojckova won her match against another Volunteer after Caitlin Whoriskey had to withdraw in the second set with an injury.
Freshmen Diana Mortlock and Pender Sessoms, senior Neils Barringer and junior Kristen Bleakley also competed in singles play.
Mortlock and Hojckova lost in doubles to Whoriskey/Sorbelle of Tennessee in the only doubles match for the Pack.
