Men's Golf to Host River Landing Intercollegiate

Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men’s golf team will be hosting The River Landing Intercollegiate in Wallace, N.C., April 11-13. The tournament will be held on the par 72, 7,112 yard Landing Course. Live scoring will be available on golfstat.com. This year’s field features 15 teams, with five currently ranking in the top-50.
The Intercollegiate has been held in the Triangle area for about 17 years, but, this year and in 2009, it is being played on the River Course at River Landing in Wallace. This year, the teams play 18 holes Friday, Saturday and Sunday with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m. on the 1st and 10th tees.
The official name is the River Landing Intercollegiate hosted by Murphy Family Ventures and NC State University, but River Landing Intercollegiate is plenty. It is a 54-hole college golf tournament which annually has attracted some of the top men’s college teams. Here are the teams and their national rankings (updated weekly on www.Golfweek.com) as of April 7.
