Ward Competes at Canadian Swim Trials

MONTREAL, Q.C. NC State freshman swimmer Jessica Ward competed at the Canadian Swim Trials, April 1-6, partaking in the 100-breast, 200-breast and 200-IM. A native of Pickering, Ontario, Canada, Ward swam alongside the best swimmers in her homeland, all vying for a spot on the Canadian Olympic team.
Ward got her best showing in the 200-breast, clocking in at 2:40.40 for a 26th-place overall finish. She placed 60th in the 100-breast with a 1:16.59, and 70th with a 2:28.29 in the 200-IM.
