Patterson Finishes Third in High Jump at Penn Relays

High jumper Alesha Patterson turned in another solid performance for the NC State women's track and field team as it opens competition at the Penn Relays. Brittany Tinsley ran in the 5,000m and DeMiracle Wasington competed in the long jump.
Patterson jumped 5'06.00", her second-best mark of the season.
Tinsley was 22nd with a time of 17:19.70 in the 5,000m, her second-best time of the season in the event.
Washington finished ninth with a jump of 18'05.25" in the long jump, her fourth-best mark of the outdoor season for the school record holder.
