Washington Wins Triple Jump and Long Jump at UNC Invitational

Senior jumper DeMiracle Washington won the triple and long jump at the UNC Invitational on Saturday, April 12, to lead the NC State women's track and field team. Both of her marks were NCAA Regional Marks and season highs.
Marilynn Angell hit a season-high in the 400m hurdles with a 1:06.40.
Mattie Bethea was fifth in the long jump with a season-best 18'05.00".
Bethea also finished sixth in the 100m hurdles with a 15.29, her second-best time of the season.
