Men's Golf Sits 4th at River Landing Intercollegiate

Raleigh, N.C. - After one round of action in the Pack's own River Landing Intercollegiate in Wallace, N.C., the Pack is currently tied for fourth place after shooting an even-par (288) round, and is four shots off the lead. Florida State and Duke are tied for the team lead at four-under, while Webb Simpson of Wake Forest and Kevin O'Connell of North Carolina were the top individual finishers at five-under par (67).
A pair of golfers led the way for the Pack, finishing the first round at one-under (71). Kent Copeland used a team-high four birdies on the day, while Darren Blair also shot a 71 and finished with three birdies.
Matt Hill was close behind, as he used three birdies to finish an even-par (72).
Brad Revell finished his round at two-over (74), and Andrew Byrd was three-over (75) for the round.
NC State also has a trio of players playing as individuals. Wesley Tucker shot a two-over (74), Chad Day was at nine-over (81), and Adam Hogue finished the first round at 11-over (83).
