Softball Set for USF Under Armour Invitational

CLEARWATER, Fla. NC State softball will return to the diamond March 5-9 at the USF Under Armour Invitational. The Pack will complete in Pool A alongside host South Florida, Penn State, Jacksonville, St. Joe’s and Maine. The red and white’s stay at the event is highlighted by a game against Team USA on Saturday, March 8, at 8:30 p.m.
The Pack will get things started on Thursday, March 5, against Maine (9:30 a.m.) and Jacksonville (12 noon). On Friday, March 7, State will face Penn State (9:30 a.m.) and South Florida (12 noon). The Wolfpack will battle St. Joe’s at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday before squaring off against Team USA. NC State will depart Clearwater after one game on Sunday, March 9. The time and opponent will be determined as the event unfolds.
Following the USF Under Armour Invitational, State will kickoff the ACC portion of its schedule March 15-16 with three games against Boston College in Raleigh. All games will be played at the Curtis & Jacqueline Dail Softball Stadium on the NC State campus.
