Mellor Travels West for NCAA Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. - Wolfpack swimmer Stephen Mellor will compete at the 2008 NCAA Championships, March 27-29 in Federal Way, Wash. The redshirt junior is seeded 19th overall in the 200-back, and will also compete in the 200-IM. Live streaming of the event is available online.
The 200-IM will be held Thursday, March 27, while the 200-back will take place on Saturday, March 29.
Mellor’s trip to the NCAA Championships follows a solid performance at the ACC Championships, Feb. 27-March 1, in which he collected All-ACC honors in both the 200-back (1:45.05) and 200-IM (1:47.36). His time in the 200-IM stands as the new school record.
Mellor also collected All-ACC hardware in 2007.
