W. Track & Field Fourth at ACC Indoor Championships

Led by DeMiracle Washington's ACC title in the long jump, the NC State women's track and field team is currently fourth at the ACC Indoor Championships in Chapel Hill. Washington set the school record in long jump in winning the title. Alesha Patterson turned in a second place performance in the high jump with a career-best 5'08.50" to earn All-ACC honors.
Kayla Lawson tied for third with a 5'06.50" in the high jump and earned All-ACC in the process.
Angelina Blackmon had the sixth fastest time in the prelims of the 800 meters with a 2:10.55 and will compete in the finals on Saturday.
Lauren Montgomery was 13th in the prelims of the 400 meter dash with a 57.12, her career-best.
Blackmon, Montgomery, Kara McKenna and Colleen Wetherbee combined for a fourth place finish and five team points in the Distance Medley Relay with a time of 11:39.71.
