Men's Golf Completes Round One at Puerto Rico

Raleigh, N.C. The NC State men’s golf team is in action for the first time this spring season, teeing off in the Puerto Rico Classic. In Friday’s first round, the Pack shot an eight-over par (296) and currently sit in 11th place.
Darren Blair led the way for NC State, as he finished his round at two-under (70), tied for sixth place overall. Matt Hill shot a one-over (73), while Andrew Byrd finishes the day four-over par (75). Rounding out the NC State golfers in the first round, was Brad Revell with a 78, and Kent Copeland with an 80.
Round two will be played Saturday, and the final round will be on Sunday.
