W. Track & Field Heads to ACC Indoor Championships

The NC State women's track and field team will head to the ACC Indoor Championships in Chapel Hill, N.C. Thursday, February 28 to Saturday, March 1. The women will be lead by Angelina Blackmon and DeMiracle Washington at the championships. Blackmon's time of 4:43.84 in the mile is a NCAA Provisional mark and Washington is one of the top triple jumpers in the conference.
Blackmon leads the ACC in the mile and is fourth in the conference in the 800 meters.
Washington is second in the conference in the long jump with an indoor school record of 19'11.50" and ranks fourth in the triple jump with a 41'04.25".
Kayla Lawson is sixth in the high jump with a jump of 5'07.00".
