Women's Swimming Wraps Up Day One at ACC's

ATLANTA, Ga. The NC State women’s swimming team stands in eighth place overall at the conclusion of day one, Wednesday, Feb. 20, of the ACC Championships. Through two events, the 200-medley relay and the 800-freestyle relay, State amassed 44 total points.
The Wolfpack relay of Erica Smith, Anna Linkenauger, Patrice Dason and Ashley Richter took eighth in the 200-medley relay with a 1:43.86. The red and white later took eighth again in the 800-freestyle relay, with Lucy Lindsey, Richter, Linkenauger and Jen Kopenitz swimming a collective 7:29.49.
Competition will continue tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 21, at the ACC Championships. Events scheduled include prelims and finals in the 500-free, 200-IM, 50-free and 200-free relay.
