Dexter Adams was fourth in the long jump, the first time in five meets this season that he didn't win the event. His mark of 24'11.25" was his second farthest of the year.
Competition continues on Saturday at the Tyson Invitational. A split squad is also traveling to Chapel Hill for a meet.
