Women's Tennis Signs Smith for 2009

RALEIGH, N.C. NC State women’s tennis head coach Hans Olsen announced the signing of Chloe Smith on Monday, Nov. 24, 2008. A native of Naples, Florida, Smith will join the Wolfpack in the fall of 2009.
“We are excited to have Chloe coming to our team,” said Olsen. “She brings an intense competitive drive on the court and she will fit in very well with our program.”
Smith has been ranked in the top-15 in every age group in the Florida section, and this past summer, finished the season ranked No. 14 in the Florida Girl’s 18s. Smith placed fourth at the Florida State Closed in the summer of 2008. She attends Keystone High School in Florida and has been coached by her stepfather Jason Thomas for the past ten years.
