The ACC office announced today that an eighth NC State women’s basketball game has been picked up by television this season. The league matchup at Miami on Thursday, January 22 at 7 p.m., will be broadcast live on CSS (Comcast / Charter Sports Southeast).
Unfortunately for Wolfpack fans in most of North Carolina the game will not be televised.
CSS is currently available in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
In other news, The FOX Sports regional networks serving the Southeast, including FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Tennessee will televise two 60-minute ACC basketball preview shows, one featuring the women’s teams and the other spotlighting the men. The ACC Basketball Season Preview Women’s Special debuts on Wednesday, November 26 at 4 p.m. ET followed by the ACC Basketball Season Preview Men’s Special at 5 p.m. ET.
The women’s preview show includes profiles of all 12-conference coaches, as well as in-depth analysis from hosts and women’s basketball experts Debbie Antonelli and Beth Mowins. Veteran ACC basketball analysts Mike Hogewood and Dan Bonner host the men’s special, which features interviews with coaches and players from each ACC school. Both shows also include a preview of conference action and a look at All-ACC selections.
The ACC Basketball Season Preview Women’s Special has additional airings on November 26 at 4 p.m. ET and November 30 at 2 p.m. ET.
And finally, NC State will offer live online video streaming of five additional home games through ACCSelect.com.
All together, at least 13 of the Wolfpack’s 29 regular season games will either be televised or available online, with more ACC away games likely to be available on ACCSelect.com as well.
