'Chow4Yow' Auction Now Closed

RALEIGH, N.C. The final bids continued right down to the 3 p.m. deadline in NC State's "Chow4Yow" on-line auction and the winning bid came in at $3,300. All money raised by each school in the ACC will go to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.

The winner of the auction will receive dinner for four with Wolfpack Hall of Fame coach Kay Yow and her staff at Yow's home on Dec. 12, four courtside tickets to the NC State men's basketball game against Winston-Salem State on Dec. 13 and four courtside seats to the women's game on Dec. 14 against Mississippi. Both games will be played at historic Reynolds Coliseum.

Each of the ACC's 12 schools is holding a similar fundraiser to benefit the cancer fund named in honor of Yow, which is part of the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
