Cavaday, Weinacker Advance in Doubles at UVA Invitational

Christian Welte fell in the semifinals of the consolation bracket at the Virginia Fall Invitational as the Wolfpack continued play over the weekend. Welte lost 6-3, 6-4 to Alex Seleznev (ODU). In doubles, Jay Weinacker and Nick Cavaday found success, winning both of their matches.

Weinacker and Cavaday defeated Mohamed/Dietz (Binghamton), 8-1, before advancing to the semifinals with an 8-4 win. The duo will play in the semifinals on Sunday morning at 9 am as play continues in Charlottesville, Va.
