W. Tennis Ranked Regionally and Nationally in Final ITA Polls

The NC State women’s tennis team finished the season with its second straight NCAA berth and sent a pair of individuals to the NCAA Individual Championships for the first time in school history. On top of that, some impressive national and regional rankings have rolled in for the program.
The team is ranked No. 41 nationally in the final poll and is ninth in the Southeast region.
Freshman Daria Petrovic finished her standout first season ranked No. 14 in the region and No. 97 overall nationally.
Petrovic combined with Alejandra Guerra to make NC State history by advancing to the NCAA Individual Championships in doubles, and the pair finished the season ranked No. 22 nationally and sixth in the region.
