No. 39 Women's Tennis Grabs NCAA Bid

"We are excited to be going to Georgia and looking forward to our first match against Auburn," head coach Hans Olsen said. "Going to the NCAA's in back-to-back years is special for us especially since this is a young team.They have really accomplished a lot this season and I think this is a sign that the program is moving in the right direction."
The Pack heads into the postseason with a 13-10 record, tied for the fourth best record in school history. This selection marks the second straight year that Olsen has led his squad to the NCAA Regionals, with the Wolfpack defeating No. 24 William & Mary before falling to No. 14 VCU for the first NCAA win in program history.
Freshman Daria Petrovic earned All-ACC honors after posting 10 wins at No. 1 singles in the spring, including four in the ACC, to lead the lineup. She is currently ranked No. 94 nationally heading in to the postseason.
Petrovic also teamed with sophomore Alejandra Guerra to form the nation’s No. 24 doubles combination and have knocked off three top-10 doubles team in their last five matches. They have a 16-6 record at No. 1 doubles and were 8-3 at No. 1 doubles in the ACC.
Guerra has been hot down the stretch in singles as well, winning 15 matches, tied for second on the team. She has won eight of her last 11 matches down the stretch and heads into the NCAA Tournament riding a three-match win streak without dropping a set.
Freshman Kate Green leads the team with a 16-6 record in the spring, including a 9-1 mark at No. 5 and a perfect 6-0 mark at that spot in the ACC.
Junior Julia Roach is also tied for second on the team with a 15-7 mark in singles, including a 7-2 record at No. 4 singles and a 6-2 record at No. 5.
Freshman Berkeley Brock has also had a good first season, posting 14 wins including nine combined wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles.
