Former All-American Price Places 10th in Boston Marathon

Raleigh, N.C. - Former cross country and track All-American Kristin Price finished in 10th place among the women's division at the 2007 Boston Marathon. Price finished with a final time of 2:38.57, and was the third-fastest American runner. She was also the second-youngest runner to finish in the top-10.
Price was one of the top athletes to ever compete at NC State during her career (2002-04). She tied the school record by earning eight All-America honors in her track career, including winning the 10,000 meters at the 2002 Outdoor NCAA Championships. In cross country, Price earned All-America honors twice, and helpd the 2001 women's squad to a second place finish at the NCAA Championships.
