Cullen Jones Wins Silver at FINA World Championships

Cullen Jones tied his world's fastest time from 2006 in the 50 meter freestyle and finished second at the 2007 FINA World Championships in Melbourne, Australia. Jones won the silver with a time of 21.94, falling short of the gold by just six hundreths-of-a-second. Jones', a former Wolfpack All-American, is considered one of the top sprinters on the international stage.
Jones was a member of the 4x100 freestyle relay team that won gold earlier in the championships as the US team continues to lead the championship with 35 total medals, including 18 golds. Russia is second overall in the medal count with 21.
