Divers Compete on Day One at NCAA Zones

The NC State diving team sent six swimmers to the NCAA Zone B Diving Regionals in Athens, Ga. this weekend. Austin Hampton led the way on the opening day of competition, as he finished 20th in the 1-meter while teammate Alex Dambly finished 29th for the men. On the women's squad, Emily Cheffins finished 23rd in the 3-meter, while her teammates Chelsea Ale (30th), Kristen Davies (32nd) and Natalie Swisher (36th) were close behind.
More diving events continue in Athens, Ga. at the NCAA Zone B Diving Regionals through March 4.
