Former Golfer Stephen Lewton Wins NSW Championship

Former NC State men’s golfer Stephen Lewton recently won the 100th New South Wales Amateur Championship in Australia.  This is the oldest and most prestigious event on the New South Wales calendar.  He used an impressive 3rd round score of 64 to jump into a tie for the lead heading into the final round.  In the final round he shot a 71 to win the event by one stroke.  He also recently won the 36-hole Avondale Medal in New South Wales, Australia by two strokes.
