Cavaday, Weinacker Advance at ITA All-American

Wolfpack doubles tandem Nick Cavaday and Jay Weinacker advanced to the main draw of the ITA All-American with three wins this week. The 32-team main draw starts Thursday, Oct. 4 in Tulsa, Okla.
Cavaday, a senior from England, and Weinacker, a junior from Alabama, took a team from Texas A&M to the tiebreak before pulling out the impressive win. Chris Chirico and Conor Pollock fell to the Wolfpack duo in the match, 9-8 (7).
Cavaday and Weinacker will play at 6 pm central time against Adam Monich and Nick Rinks of Michigan State.
