Men's Golf Finishes 10th at Bank of Tennessee

Raleigh, N.C. The NC State men’s golf team used its second consecutive under-par round in Sunday’s final round, as the Wolfpack finished in 10th place at the Bank of Tennesse at The Ridges held this weekend in Jonesborough, Tenn. NC State finished the tournament at one-over (865), and in the process defeated two top-15 teams.
The Pack was led in the final round by its two freshmen golfers. Chad Day was the top scorer on the day for NC State, as he shot a three-under (69). Day’s round included an eagle on a par-five, two birdies, and only one hole over par.
Classmate Matt Hill was also under par on the day, as he shot a one-under (71). Hill had a team-high five birdies, and just two holes over par.
Sophomore Kent Copeland shot an even-par (72) in the third round, while sophomore Brad Revell and senior Darren Blair each had a three-over (75).
