Wolfpack Men's Swimming Falls to Clemson in Death Valley

NC State men's swimming and diving fell in a tightly contested meet against ACC rival Clemson in
Mellor won three events, as he pushed his team leading total to 14 individual events wins and 19 total top-5 finishes. He won the 200 backstroke (1:50.71), 400 IM (4:01.98) and the 200 butterfly (1:52.59) against the Tigers.
Lester won a pair of events, taking the 1650 freestyle in a time of (16:05.37) and winning the 500 free with a 4:34.62 as he leads the team in both events. It was his eighth and ninth event wins this season.
Steve Cowling won his signature event, the 100 backstroke, with a time of 50.00. He finished third in the 100 butterfly with a 50.95 and swam in the relays as well.
NC State will now send its squad to the ACC Championships from February 21-24 in
