
Women's Golf One Shot Off Lead

The NC State women’s golf team is one shot off the lead at the Wildcat Fall Invitational in Lexington, Ky. Lauren Doughtie is tied for seventh in the field to lead the Wolfpack after rounds of 79 and 77 in tough weather and course conditions. Overall, NC State has four players in the individual top-20 in the field before Sunday’s final round. Freshman Kathleen Strandberg, in her first collegiate tournament, is tied for 12th and second on the team with rounds of 79 and 78.
Stephanie Derry and Nancy Mountcastle are oth tid for 20th, with Derrey firing rounds of 80 and 79 while Mountcastle had rounds of 78 and 81.
Jessie Vincent is tied for 27th with rounds of 80 and 81. Freshman Emily Street fired a first round 81 and is 58th in the field playing as an individual.
